Ordering:
1. Browse our products and select the items with options you wish to order.
2. Follow our simple, automated checkout procedure to securely place your order.
3. Your order will be confirmed via email or telephone within two business days.
4. Your order will not be processed until a shipping quote has been approved.
5. It will take approximately 10 weeks, sometimes longer, for your furniture to be built. If your order is a custom piece, it can take 12 weeks or more to complete.

Shipping:
For your convenience, we are happy to ship your order to anywhere in the contiguous United States. Delivery can be arranged overseas as well. It will take 2-3 weeks to have your order packaged and delivered once the items are made. Due to the size and weight of most items, as well as the packaging and careful handling required, shipping is not inexpensive. Shipping will be quoted to you as Curb Side Delivery (This will be delivered by 1 driver to your address. You will be required to unload the furniture. In home delivery is available.) unless you request otherwise. However, we ask you to keep in mind that our low furniture prices along with the absence of out-of-state taxes still allow for a very attractive total cost.
If you would prefer to pick up your order in person, we would be happy to make arrangements for you to do so. Just bring a suitable vehicle and packing blankets. Our furniture is not boxed or packaged in the warehouse. We are centrally located in eastern Ohio.
Payment Terms:
We accept several methods of payment: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, Certified Check, Money Order or Personal Check. Mailing address: Amish Outlet Store, P.O. Box 396, Smithville, Ohio 44677. If you are from another country out side of the United States of America, please contact us for payment options.
A fifty percent deposit is due before the order is placed. After the first day of your deposit, you can cancel the order, however, you will receive a refund on your deposit less a 5% processing fee. Deposits are nonrefundable after 15 days. The balance of orders is payable before delivery or at the time of pickup. Please note that if you mail a check or money order, we cannot process your order until the payment is verified, which may take several days.
Guarantee:
Every piece of furniture we sell comes with a 1 year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. Should you detect a defect or damages in any way, simply contact us and we will have the items repaired or replaced at our discretion with no charge to you. Please be prepared to send pictures that show the problem so we can access what needs to be done. Unnatural use or missuse of any item is not under our guarantee. If the item you ordered was a custom order or you received a special stain match, your item is nonreturnable.
Return Policy:
Standard items may be returned within ten days via common carrier at the customer's expense. If the items are returned in good condition, a refund (excluding shipping charges and a 15% restocking fee) will be issued. Custom pieces are non-returnable. Furniture that has natural finish is non-returnable due to color variations. Should you receive an item that is defective or damaged in shipping we will, at our option, have the item repaired or replaced at no additional cost.
Stains/Fabrics/Leathers:
Numerous stain colors are available. You can view them by clicking on "View Details" on the item page of our site. We recommend, however, requesting stain samples when you order to help determine your choice.
Natural finish clearly displays the color variations of solid hardwood furniture. This variation is a natural identifying characteristic of solid wood. There are no return privileges for natural finished furniture due to color variations.
Dark stain on hard maple wood tends to look blotchy and uneven. Dark colors on hard maple will be done with the understanding that there are no return privileges dues to blotchy and/or uneven color tones.
Fabric and leather samples can be sent to you. Fabric selected from Peiger Fabric's website may incur additional cost to your furniture price depending on which fabric you choose. J.J. Peiger Fabric Company will send fabric samples directly to you, so please request them. Ask your sales associate for more details. Our leather is the finest full top grain available, although you may see healed scars and markings which is natural. These hides are not coated and/or corrected.
Finish:
After staining, our products are finished with "Wood-Var" which has a satin sheen. This is a modified catalyzed conversion varnish formulated to be virtually "Hazardous Air Pollutant" free. This premium grade finish is a very environmentally friendly product to apply and use, and is tough and resistant to scratches and spills.
