Mission 2-Door Bench

Genuine mission furniture is fetching record sums at antique houses, and for good reason – mission styling is highly attractive and blends in well with both older and modern pieces. If you don’t want to spend antique prices,’s handmade furniture is the next best thing.

Unlike a lot of mission-inspired furniture, we don’t compromise quality or artisanship. Our furniture, such as the Mission Two-Door Bench in oak, captures both the look and the spirit of the mission movement, giving you a piece that, if taken care of, will stay in the household for years to come.

The Mission bench delivers everything that made mission furniture famous – solid wood construction, clean and simple lines and attention to detail throughout. This pieces measures 40 inches wide by 18 ½ inches deep by 22 inches high and is available in oak, quartersawn oak, cherry, hickory and brown maple. It can be finished naturally or in the stain of your choice. Add a cushion top for a small additional fee.

Every Mission bench is built to order by Amish artisans trained in traditional furniture-making techniques. As a result, no two are alike – each will age in its own unique way, displaying its graining more prominently and developing the rich, deep patina only time can provide. furniture is a much-needed counterpoint to our disposable, mass-produced culture. When you buy one of our pieces, you get something that is utterly unique – and utterly your own. Purchase our Mission Two-Door Bench on its own, or add it to a larger order to qualify for discounts of up to 33 percent off retail pricing. Contact a sales representative directly for details.

All tables and beds require some level of assembly to complete. Components such as headboards, frames and table legs may need to be assembled when you receive your new dining table or bed. Many other items do not require any assembly, including most smaller furniture such as coffee tables and end tables.
