Our McCoy chairs arrived yesterday-we are beyond delighted with the quality of the materials and craftsmanship. This furniture is solid-like the kind your grandparents would have in their home, very heavy, solid wood and rugged upholstery fabric. Prior to purchasing these pieces, we shopped in a number of stores and were disappointed in the amount of particle board, the inattention to detail, and the quality of the finishes-not to mention the lack of flexibility with regard to individual stain/fabric preferences.
